We are proud to announce that Pierre Francotte has joined AkinovA’s Advisory Board. Pierre brings with him a wealth of experience in the settlement of securities transactions, the safekeeping and asset servicing of securities, as well as in banking. Pierre is currently Professor of finance at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and a member of Belgium's College of Resolution of Banks.  He also holds a number of prominent Board positions. Prior to AkinovA, Pierre spent 10 years as the CEO of Euroclear as well as holding senior executive and non-executive roles at JP Morgan, Belfius Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

Pierre’s primary focus will be to assist in the development of AkinovAs post-trading activities including its Clearing House as well as developing AkinovA’s connectivity across the financial services industry.

Pierre studied Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, obtained a diploma in Comparative Legal Studies at Cambridge University and a post-graduate degree in Financial and Economic Law from Université Libre de Bruxelles.
