We are proud to announce that Paul Jardine has joined AkinovA’s Advisory Board. Paul brings with him a wealth of experience from across the Insurance industry from strategic level leadership, Operations, Claims and Distribution Strategy as well as Communications & Marketing. Paul was previously the Executive Vice President and Chief Experience Officer of XL Catlin. Paul joined Catlin (now part of AXA XL), in 2001 with responsibility for the development of new financial products. He was appointed Chief Executive of the Catlin Syndicate in 2003 and Chief Operating Officer of Catlin in 2004. Prior to his time at Catlin, Paul was a partner at PwC forerunner Coopers & Lybrand where he was involved almost exclusively with issues dealing with Lloyd’s of London and the London insurance market. Paul began his career as an actuary with Prudential Assurance Company Limited. 

Paul’s primary focus will be to assist in the growth and development of the AkinovA marketplace utilising his in-depth knowledge of the global (re)insurance market and regulatory environments to identify and address marketplace pain points and help drive market liquidity. 

Paul served for 9 years as the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Lloyd's, the body responsible for the management and supervision of the Lloyd’s market. Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
